The new year is quickly approaching and we are starting it off with a Beginning Outdoor Photography workshop on January 6, 2018 on Antelope Island State Park in northern Utah.
The workshop will have both a classroom portion and a hands-on photography session afterwards, weather permitting, where we will go out and try to capture a sunset with the techniques discussed in the workshop so bring your camera, tripod and gear and dress warm.
The workshop will be held January 6, 2018 at the Antelope Island State Park visitors center starting at 1:00 pm. The indoor class portion will run from 1:00 pm to approximately 3:00 pm and the hands-on portion will start at 4:00 pm, with a break in-between. The cost for the workshop is $75 and covers the classroom and the hands-on portions of the class but excludes the entrance fee to the park. Check the Utah State Parks website for the current fee for entry into the state park and for all park rules. The daily state park entrance fee is good for all day so come early to the park and enjoy the park amenities and wildlife before the workshop. Your state park receipt is required for re-entry into the park so if you plan on leaving and coming back keep the receipt given at the park gate.
Pre-registration will be required as seating is limited. Contact us for more information about the workshop or to register. Because of costs associated with setting up and putting such an event registration fees are non-refundable but if you register and are unable to attend the workshop I will offer a one-on-one class sometime during the month of January 2018 for those unable to come to the workshop.
The workshop is designed for the beginning outdoor photography enthusiast wanting to learn more about photography, either for a hobby or even a for a possible future profession in photography. We will cover aspects such as gear, composition, lighting and a few editing techniques to help your pictures look their best. This workshop will help you take better landscape, nature, wildlife and even outdoor portraits so register today and come to our Beginning Outdoor Photography workshop.
Payments can be made in person with cash or with either a credit card or electronic check via Paypal.
