Each year the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge plays host to millions of migratory and resident birds. One of those birds is a brilliantly colored species of waterfowl called the rudy duck. Each spring and summer the brightly colored male rudy ducks do a display of sorts. I had never seen this display until a few weeks ago when I was on the refuge auto tour route and came across this male doing an interesting dance. I was able to get a few photographs and a short video of him before he decided to take his act on the road and leave my camera range.
